12TH SANGGUNIAN APPROVES ANNUAL BUDGET FOR FY 2011

AFTER several off-session meetings and lengthy deliberations, the 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Malapatan have finally approved the municipal Annual Budget for FY 2011 during on its 3rd Special Session last December 9, 2010, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALAPATAN FOR FY 2011 IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN MILLION NINE HUNDRED TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX PESOS (P118,925,476.00) COVERING THE VARIOUS OPERATIONAL EXPENDITURES AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE".

TRANSPARENCY of government transaction is now being implemented by the DILG which includes online posting of all Sanggunian actions, biddings and the like. However, since the proposed official website of the Local Government of Malapatan is still on the process pending approval of the budget, this blogsite would serve as a temporary and, when the latter shall be implemented, as an alternate site of the LGU.

For those interested parties, kindly check this site from time to time as important updates will be posted. All of these are done to embrace full transparency and accountability of our day to day transactions.
